Apps / Budgeting appBeta
See the month before it happens.
A budgeting app that links your banks, sorts your transactions, finds your subscriptions and forecasts your cash flow from your own paychecks and bills. Share it with a partner without merging your money.
What it does
Pocketwise
- 01
Your banks, kept current
Link accounts through Plaid. You sign in to your bank in Plaid’s window, so Pocketwise never sees your password. New transactions arrive as the bank reports them, and a pending charge updates in place when it posts.
- 02
Budgets that roll over
Set a monthly budget for each category, and carry what’s left into next month if you want to. Merchant rules sort transactions for you, and bulk edit fixes a whole batch at once.
- 03
Cash flow, 60 days out
Pocketwise spots your paychecks and recurring bills and lays them out on their dates for the next 60 days, so you can see your next payday and the lowest point ahead.
- 04
Subscriptions found for you
Recurring charges are detected automatically. You get an alert when a price goes up or a new subscription appears, and well-known services link straight to their own cancel page.
- 05
Share with a partner
Invite one person into a household, then switch between just you and the two of you. You each see the other’s accounts, transactions and budgets, and only the owner can change them. You’ll both need the same home currency.
- 06
Alerts on your phone
Install it like an app and turn on notifications, device by device. New alerts pop up even when Pocketwise is closed, and the thresholds are yours to set.
